TMX-85 Titanium Gundam

The Titanium Gundam is a custom MS built by Panther Heavy Industries. The base design is actually derived from a Mobile Worker. P.H.I. had attempted to market their line of next-gen Mobile Workers but failed to successfully keep the design cost effective. However they caught the eye of Copper Gabrial, the leader of the Anti-Zeon terrorist group The Civilians. Since P.H.I. was a nuetral business they began maneufacturing Mass Produced B Gundam Ballusines for them [link] Copper himself commissioned a new Gundam type MS for his personal use. The Titanium Gundam was the result. It is simpler than most next-gen MS of the time. But the frame is apparently derived from the Gundam Mark 2. As the name implies the unit is built of Titanium Alloy. It is armed with a powerful beam saber and a beam shotgun. The left arm can also be fitted with a spray missile launcher. It's design is somewhat basic but it is an all around well balanced fighting unit with an eye towards speed. From the looks of the design it appears to share some similarities with the D Gundam. As such it may be a rough copy.

Copper Gabrial himself was a former Titan Ace pilot. However he went into hiding when the Titans were desolved and later resurfaced as leader of the Civilians. The Civilians attacked the Republic of Zeon and stole a nuclear warhead that had been hidden since the One Year War. The Civilians used the warhead to threaton The Republic of Zeon at gunpoint to renounce their independance. However they did not count on a small group of Scrapmen led by Theadore Rocwood, former commander of the 13th MS team appearing. Copper engaged Rocwood in battle while his men fired the warhead. Former 13th MS team pilot Jake Gibbit managed to stop the warhead at the cost of his own life. This enraged Rocwood and he tore out the Titanium Gundam's cockpit, killing Copper instantly. The rest of The Civilians escaped out towards Mars and became pirates.
