SM-64 Small Mobile

The Small Mobile was built at Jarbero Base in UC 0079 as a possible cheap varient to the GM. However the unit was built so cheap that only half of it is armored with titanium. The rest is ordinary steel. It has no beam weaponry and is armed with a heat knife and 90mm machine gun. The unit is smaller than a GM and is even shorter than a Zaku. The generator output is equivilant to a Zaku 2 F Type. There is nothing special about the unit as it was designed to try and cut costs by half. It did prove to be inexpensive to build and had quick mobility but was sorely lacking in overall performance. The one unit built was commondeered by Lieutenant Woody to try and stop the Zeon attack on Jabero but was destroyed at the hands of Char Aznable. [Note, this is fanfiction.] The reason I created this unit was because I once read about a Mobile Suit called the SM that appeared in a Gundam Video Game. It was said to have rope-like limbs and have GM features painted onto it. Well I could not find a pic of one of these anywhere so I made my own. It turned out surprisingly good considering it's nothing like the orginal description I found
